Cobalt International Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CIE)
A formidable breakout in this energy stock over the past several days, with the ticker accelerating through some previous range resistance in the $25 area, before finally stalling shy of $30. At this point however, it looks as though any additional gains will be hard to come by, with the daily chart well overbought. The daily RSI has recently rallied through a jaw dropping 88, and with this in mind, I would be on the lookout for a significant, healthy corrective pullback over the coming sessions. Look for rallies to now be well capped below $30 on a daily close basis, with weakness seen towards $25 before any consideration is to be given for bullish resumption.
